Weekend Sports Betting - NASCAR, PGA Golf, MLS, NBA Summer League, MLB, Series Spotlight
It’s the weekend, sports betting fans, and that means plenty of opportunity for spending time with family, watch and betting on sports, of course! Hardways Mike jumps on the podcast today to talk through this weekend’s games, lines, events and more. Mike starts the podcast by looking at the John Deere Classic, this week’s PGA golf event. The leaderboard has had a bit of a shake up since yesterday, and Mike is hoping a couple guys make a run in round four.
Mike next jumps over to NASCAR, to look at the lines for tomorrow’s Quaker State 400, before looking at some MLS lines. Soccer is a big part of what we do at SBI, and with MLS in mid-season, it’s a great time to be a soccer fan (and soccer bettor). Mike doesn’t forget the NBA Summer League, going on now through the middle of July. There are lines up for today’s games, and Mike works through some of these matchups.
Mike next moves on to the day’s MLB games, several of which have started. Mike looks at the rest of the weekend’s schedule first, as today and tomorrow are the last two days of MLB action before the All Star Break starting Monday. Mike does pull up the SBI MLB Today page to get the lowdown on the day’s games, before looking at several lines for games yet to start.
Mike next closes out this week’s Series Spotlight - the Los Angeles Angels vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Angels and Dodgers finish a two-game series tonight, with the Dodgers taking game one yesterday (Mike was on the over in that game, and it came in handily). Mike does a deep dive on the matchup, before examining the moneyline, run line, total and line movements. Mike also uses the SBI MLB Player Prop page to look at props for a few guys in tonight’s game.
Mike closes out the MLB segment and the podcast by talking about the All Star Game and Home Run Derby. The Home Run Derby is on Monday, and the All Star Game is on Tuesday. Find out who Mike likes for the Derby!
