Friday Sports Betting - Wimbledon, PGA Golf, MLS, NBA Summer League, MLB, Series Spotlight
Happy Friday, sports bettors! The weekend is here and there is so much sports betting action we are bursting! Hardways Mike is here to talk you through all things sports, sports betting and waffles, believe it or not. To start, Mike recaps the week's action in Wimbledon, as the tennis world has been buzzing with the tournaments winding down. The women's matches have been incredible and the men's are right there. The Wimbledon Women's tournament finishes tomorrow, while the Wimbledon Men's tournament wraps up on Sunday with Alcaraz squaring off against the GOAT, Djokovic. The Joker is the favorite to open, and he's likely to go off in the -170 to -190 range. Where's your money at on Sunday morning? Following that, Mike checks in on the Genesis Scottish Open, this week's PGA event. Rory McIlroy is currently in the lead at 10 under, but Hun An, Hatton and Kim are all nipping at his heels at nine under. Mike has a few futures bets on this tournament, including a couple right near the top, so stay tuned throughout the weekend to see how things unfold! Mike next looks at the weekend's soccer lines, as MLS is heating up. Plenty of action to be had stateside until the international leagues start back up. Mike also looks at the lines for the NBA Summer League games tonight. The Summer League is nearing the end this month.
The rest of the podcast Mike spends on the sport that we didn't know we missed so much until we didn't have it for a short two days - baseball! With Major League Baseball back in action tonight after a two-day hiatus following the All Star Game, there are lines aplenty. Mike makes his way around MLB looking at the lines for some key matchups, including the struggling Yankees. Find out where there is value and what pitchers to look at (the SBI MLB Today page is great for that) in MLB tonight.
Mike spends quite a bit of time on the first game in this week's Series Spotlight, the Chicago White Sox vs. the Atlanta Braves. Mike's White Stockings are going to have a tough time this weekend against Aces' Braves, but there is sports betting value to mine here. Mike runs down tonight's pitchers and lineups, looking opportunities. Mike next goes over the moneyline, run line, total and even some alt run lines for the game, before looking at the moneyline movement for both teams. Of course, player props are back, so Mike checks the SBI MLB Player Props page and finds THREE decent lines for home runs in the game.
