4th of July Weekend Sports Betting - MLB, MLS, PGA Golf, NASCAR, College Football Look-Ahead
Happy Independence Day, sports bettors! It’s the 4th of July weekend and MLB, the PGA and NASCAR have us covered with all sorts of sports betting action. Hardways Mike is here to talk through all things sports betting this weekend, and help you find value. All the MLB games today have started, so Mike kicks off the podcast by taking a look around the baseball world to see what teams are cruising, and what teams would rather forget about today. Spoiler alert: the Braves keep the winning train going with more offense and three team home runs!
Mike takes a detour to the track to look at the Grant Park 220, NASCAR Cup Series’ first road race ever, taking place today in the city of Chicago. NASCAR turned downtown Chicago into a 2.2 mile, 100-lap course; certainly a unique betting experience. Mike also recaps the end of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. This weekend’s PGA event, it ended with a bang, as three players tied at the end of round four and ended up in a playoff. Ricky Fowler managed to get the monkey off his back and get his first PGA win since Super Bowl weekend, 2019.
Mike also looks at the lines for several Major League Soccer games this coming Tuesday, before jumping into the lines for MLB games tomorrow. Plenty of value can be had by looking ahead, and Mike does just that, highlighting several matchups and lines with good opportunities.
