Monday Sports Betting - US Open, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Monday Night Football
Introduction
Aces High and Hardways Mike are back behind the mics after a long (and profitable) football weekend. Tune in as the guys cover the US Open Championship matches, Major League Baseball, NCAAF, and the NFL.
Segment One: US Open Recap
The guys open the podcast by recapping the finals matches in the Women’s and Men’s US Open Tournament. It was a profitable tournament for SBI, as the guys had futures wagers (covered on a previous podcast) on both Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. The guys also recap the Men’s finals match between Djokovic and Medvedev.
Segment Two: MLB Action
In the second segment, Kyle and Mike bounce over to baseball, looking back on some great MLB action this weekend. The Braves and Phillies are playing right now, but there is plenty of sports betting opportunity the rest of today. The guys look over several games from a betting perspective, looking for value on the slate.
Segment Three: College Football and NCAAF Betting
Next, the guys head over to football, starting with college football. There was no shortage of action in NCAAF Week 2, and the guys cover a good bit of it. They pull up the SBI NCAAF Game Boards to peek at the Week 3 early lines, and also use the SBI Player Props page to start comparing some NCAAF player props for the coming weekend. They close out this segment by mentioning the Mel Tucker news and what that means for this weekend’s Michigan State line.
Segment Four: NFL Insights and Beating the Odds
In the last segment, Kyle and Mike spend considerable time talking about the first regular season week in the NFL. While not Kyle’s favorite league, the guys do spend time looking at what went down this past Thursday and this weekend, before talking through tonight’s Monday Night Football match between the Bills and the Jets. Kyle finds a couple of +EV alt lines specifically for that game. We close out the podcast with Mike recapping his 3-0 start to the Beating the Odds segment on The Professional Fanatics podcast, a weekly competition where bettors compete in a season-long tournament.
